I am Tabea Krause. I am a teacher and a mother of a boy. In Gießen I studied teaching at secondary and secondary schools for the subjects German, Protestant religion and politics & economics and completed my legal clerkship and the final 2nd state examination in Schwerin in 2012. After my preparation time, I moved to Freiburg im Breisgau, where I graduated in Political Science and Sociology with a Bachelor of Arts. After my studies in Freiburg, I worked for 1 1/2 at a school that specialized in hearing impaired children. When I married my husband, I moved to Lörrach in the summer of 2017. A year earlier I started to work at a primary school in Basel and got to know the IB there. At this school I came into contact with discovery learning for children for the first time and I was able to develop professionally through my colleagues. 

The birth of my son in the summer of 2019 gave me a different view of the educational opportunities in the Lörrach region. My wish manifested itself to found a kindergarten in which children with their questions, talents and interests are seen and supported. My concern is to create a place for our children where they can learn future-relevant skills in a playful way.

I am very fortunate that I was able to get my husband excited about the project, which is why I use the plural in the text.
