Your bilingual kindergarten for the district of Lörrach

We are based on the international and interdisciplinary curriculum of the IB (PYP), which enjoys a worldwide reputation. The PYP curriculum offers a holistic program with linguistic, mathematical, artistic, musical, scientific, social science and sporting criteria in which children are perceived and encouraged holistically. The curriculum also provides employees with guidelines for implementing the educational offerings and gives parents a transparent opportunity to see their child's learning goals.

At the heart of the kindergarten year are 4 interdisciplinary units relevant to everyday life (Unit of Inquiry) that are developed throughout the year in German and English. These units are at least 6 weeks long and thus offer the children the opportunity to work on topics with depth, to determine connections and to draw conclusions relevant to everyday life.

Each unit is concluded with a product with which the child can demonstrate his learning success. The result of the unit reflects progress in learning, new knowledge and reflects newly learned relationships.

Our goal is to be in a continuous and transparent exchange with parents, so that parents are always in the picture about the learning success of their child. We will probably use seesaw for this.
